Must try: Jajangmyeon, Tteokbokki, Bibimmyeon, Samgyetang, Kimchi Sundubu-jjigae, Gimbap, Chimaek (fried chicken with beer), Bibimbap, Kal-guksu, Japchae, Korean BBQ, Jeon & Makgeolli (chestnut is my favourite)

How to get around:
- fly to Seoul or Busan. Jeju is well-connected to the mainland by air and sea .
- there are high speed trains running frequently between main cities. Highway busses are a cheaper alternative.
- In the cities, use metro or buses: Kakao Map provides up-to-date information. (Google Maps doesn’t work well)
- Use Kakao Talk to communicate with new friends and small businesses.
