An unplanned night in the Atacama desert

When researching about a trip to the Salar de Uyuni and the Atacama desert, you will most likely come across the odd horror story about a car breaking down or getting stuck somewhere on the way. So did I, but I just shrug it off and said “that would never happen to me”. Except it did.

Japan’s greatest treasure

Though I got to see the snow monkeys during my first trip to Japan in 2018, I did not manage to jump in to the “Onsen” myself. Tattoo issues and hangovers successfully prevented Tina & I from visiting the public baths. So when I went back to Japan in 2019, I was determined to make it happen. And which place is better than the south western most main island Kyushu. It’s two big and still active volcanoes Aso & Sakurajima fuel the many hot spring resorts.
